April 26, 2024

The City of Boston, through its Department of Parks and Recreation, had been working on the renovation of Cutillo Park for the past year or so. The renovated park is expected to reopen for Summer 2024. Please see the News section for an update from the Parks Department on park renovations.

We are very concerned about the condition of Morton Street. Please see the News section for a copy of our letter to Mayor Wu, and please sign our petition!

Friends of Cutillo Park

Dedicated to change.

Cutillo Park and Morton Street, located off Stillman and Salem Streets in Boston’s North End, have long been neglected by the City. This area is located at the gateway to the North End, just off the Rose Kennedy Greenway, and has incredible potential to become an important open City space.

As well as signing our petition please provide any ideas and input you might have to Friends of Cutillo Park. We would also appreciate any stories about the park, which has been there since around 1920.
